Opening year 1984 y.
c. Gyumri Ave. Haghtanak 47

The building of the Gyumri Museum of Folk Architecture and Urban Life was constructed in 1872 by the wealthy merchant Petros Dzitoghtsyan. The Dzitoghtsyan family migrated from the village of Dzitogh in Western Armenia and built this mansion, which has served as a museum since 1984.

The museum's exhibition halls present the most widespread crafts practiced in Alexandropol from the 1860s to the 1920s, including blacksmithing, tinsmithing, coppersmithing, metal casting, carpentry, tailoring, shoemaking, hat making, weaving, and jewelry making. The exhibitions also showcase the city's everyday life and spiritual culture of the period. In addition, the museum features faithfully reconstructed interiors of the homes of a Gyumri artisan and a wealthy urban family.

One of the museum's highlights is a scale model of Gyumri as it appeared in the 1910s, featuring the city's seven churches, its prominent streets, and notable buildings.

The museum complex also includes the Sergey Merkurov House-Museum.

The house-museum displays the works of the world-renowned sculptor and master of monumental art Sergey Merkurov, along with his personal belongings and archival documents. A special place in the exhibition is dedicated to the posthumous death masks of prominent historical figures, including Hovhannes Tumanyan, Khrimian Hayrik, Leo Tolstoy, Vladimir Lenin, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and many others.
